How to do awesome remote presentations
Amongst many other changes, lockdown has accelerated the gradual shift to remote presenting. And now that the bottle has been uncorked, it’s not going back in any time soon. This will still be part of our lives long after the world puts down its masks and learns to shake hands again.
Over the last few months I’ve been experimenting, researching, discussing and teaching how to do remote presentations. I’ve taught teams in the UK, USA, India, Canada and all across Europe. And I’ve been testing and refining my techniques in my own online talks.
I’d like to share what I’ve learned with you to help you stand out and deliver your message more powerfully.
I'm accredited as a Trusted Virtual Trainer
Want to know if Dave is any good at remote training? Well, Course Conductor think so. They're a global independent accreditation body for training professionals. And their accreditations are based entirely on verified customer feedback and independent training evaluations. So he's pretty chuffed to have these badges!
One-hour session plus Q&A
These inspiring, one-hour remote talks can be delivered to any size of audience. They explain what makes a great remote presentation, how to keep people engaged, how to keep your own energy up and how to come across professionally. The session is interactive, includes a Q&A session and leaves everyone with practical tips they can implement right away.
Half-day session with practical exercises
This half-day remote session comprises two 1½ hour online sessions with a 1 hour personal working session sandwiched in between. It includes training, inspiration, discussions and practical exercises. The aim is to identify opportunities and propose an approach for remote presenting across the business. This is how we’ll make you stand out and look professional online.
Technology setup and training on how to use it
As companies return to the office, they should really have a setup designed for professional remote presentations. I can help you create the right studio setup for your space, install it, create templates for your brand and train your staff on how to use the system effectively. This studio is also ideal for conducting live streams and appearing professional on online shows.
Regular sessions as required
If you’re experienced at doing face-to-face presentations but find yourself ill-equipped to do an engaging remote presentation, I can work with you. We’ll look at your technology, how to come across professionally on camera and how to structure your presentation to get maximum audience engagement. This is ideal for senior business leaders or professional keynote speakers.
