I got a confidential message yesterday after I posted about my AI Jobseeker’s course. It was a message about how many recruiters are ghosting job seekers. My anonymous messenger has been keeping track of their stats.

They told me it took 19 days on average to get a response to an application. The longest response time was 89 days. And – this is what shocked me – the ghosting rate was 61%. 

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!! That is disgusting!

• I want to find out if it’s the norm.  
• I want to find out if there’s a difference across industries.
• I want to find out what other factors are involved.

So I’m asking for your help with a short anonymous survey looking at the phenomenon of ghosting in the recruitment and its impact on job seekers.
